Colors are important. They say a lot about the personality of the wearer, determine her status, age and interests. Besides, they create visual illusions to help the girl to improve the look of her shape: become slimmer, taller, etc.
To always be fashionable one should choose tones designers suggest in their collections. But when opting for a particular color she needs to be careful and find hues that look good on her.
The color trends for the current season are the following:
White. This color is the best for warm seasons and it looks feminine and elegant. White comes in any kind of pieces, from dresses to socks and even headwear.

Coral. Coral looks unusual and trendy. It can be a bit difficult to choose accessories for garments of this tint but if you succeed the entire look will be fantastic.

Neon green. Very unexpected but truly youthful color. It looks great on young girls and immediately attracts attention.

Peppermint. If neon green looks perfect on women in their 20s, peppermint green will flatter ladies that are older. It is classy and chic.

This girl has had some problems with her career and reputation recently. But the memory of her being called a fashion icon by Karl Lagerfeld three years ago are still fresh in my mind.

Now Amy seems to be returning to normal life and her involvement into fashion has been resumed. First rumours appeared a few months ago that the singer was working on a fashion line with the British label Fred Perry. And today the gossip has been confirmed by WWD telling that the upcoming range will include 17 pieces, each developped by Winehouse and the designer team.

The line will feature ‘preppy gingham prints in a palette of pink and black, pencil skirts, girly twinsets, and polo shirts with popped collars’.
According to a Fred Perry spokesperson, the star attended all of three design meetings “where she was closely involved in product style selection and the application of fabric, color and styling details.”
The collection will become available in stores this October.

Doing sports is great and we have written about it already. It makes you slim, fit and strong and also confident as you feel better, too. Maybe this was the idea of the photo shoot for Italian Vogue March 2010 issue with Natasha Poly exercising.

The model is featured playing tennis, running, jumping and doing lots of other energetic things. She looks wonderful as any other girl that tries to keep fit.

Speaking fashionably, I can say that being sporty can be close to being stylish. Just look how designer pieces look on the model. I agree that some of those are not for sports but others will be perfect for training.
Follow Natasha, go in for sports!

Girls look beautiful in swimwear especially if they have great toned figures. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is just a perfect example of such a girl and I can’t imagine a swimsuit that would look bad on her.

I like zebra suit the most. It plays a fantastic contrast to the model’s tanned body. Strapless one-piece costume looks lovely, too.

Do you like fashion advice from celebrities? If yes, read through this to know what Gwyneth Paltrow advises you to wear this Spring.

Gwyneth writes in her GOOP newsletter:
Hands down, our most coveted, most transitional must-have for spring is the dress. Put it in a rich royal sapphire color with classic details that DVF does so well – a fitted waist, tiered bottom and flirty cut – and you have a piece that will take you effortlessly from day to night.”
Besides, the star suggests us wearing the little white dress in all possible incarnations:
The little white dress in all its incarnations, it is the perfect piece to pack for all your summer getaways.”
All-over prints, stripes, textured zig-zags, tie-dye and embellished fabrics will all be hot this spring and summer, according to the actress.
Forget what everyone told you about mixing prints – more is more this spring! Classic military shapes and colors were made totally wearable this season, and the key is all in the details. Balmain showed us how to make blazers sexy with slick, skinny leather pants and shredded T’s.”
To give you these ideas Gwyneth paired with New York-based stylist Annie Ladino. Tell me what you think about these fashion reccomendations.

Great news for Matthew Williamson’s fans – the designer is going to create a handbag range under the collaboration with Bvlgari.

Francesco Trapani, chief executive officer of Bvlgari, said they decided to team up with Williamson due to “the great sense of colour and design he brings to his work”.
The designer is the first who has been offered the collaboration. Now Bvlgari accessories are created by a design team based in Florence.
The collection is to be made for Spring/ Summer 2010 and will be unveiled at Milan Fashion Week in September.
Williamsom is to be very busy soon as he has recently told about a menswear line he is to create for the coming season.
He said:
I wanted to start a menswear line of slim-fitting, luxury cashmere jumpers in a range of great colours. I know these jumpers will become season-less staples in my own wardrobe. Cashmere and silk printed scarves and hand-beaded T-shirts complement the line and form a solid foundation for the collection to grow next season.”

The collection created by Stefano Pilati for Autumn/ Winter 2010/ 2011 looked like it had been inspired by religious motives though the designer himself denied this fact. But everyone who saw the range at Paris Fashion Week would tell that sober caped black forms, wimplelike head coverings, starched white cotton, hoods, and heavy chain pendants – all gave a nunlike impression.

The oufits were unusual for a catwalk show. High white dog collar on a suit, the yoked white blouse with full sleeves, the prim and modest mid-calf dresses looked like being typical for a Catholic convent. Even when a sheer black dress appeared it came with underwear formed as a cruciform bodysuit.

Platic covers put over some of the garments were intended for protection. Stefani Pilati explained:
It’s about protection. And partly, an homage to YSL and the rigorous tailleur.”
And the angel-like figures dangling on the gold chains wear inspired by silhouettes of Saint Laurent fashion photos Pilati had cut out of seventies magazines.

The collection as a whole looked good and some of the outfits would look great even in the office. Shoes were perfect and featured extremely high heels and platforms.

There were lots of talks about Lindsay’s involvement into the creative process of Ungaro brand. She had been reported to be leaving it and then all the rumours were slammed. Now we again return to this topic and finally we can state that the 23-year-old no longer works for Ungaro.

The actress didn’t attend the show of the label at Paris Fashion Week. When asked why she wasn’t there, Lindsay replied:
Because I don’t work for them anymore. There’s legal things going on; I can’t really discuss it.”
The brand’s owner Asim Abdullah confirmed the news saying that Lindsay was “not involved” with the latest collection.
It’s not easy for her to read or hear about this. And she must be feeling really upset. Sorry for you, poor girl.
