British artist Marc Quinn has apparently a crash on super model Kate Moss. This October Marc will unveil his $2.8 million, 110-pound solid gold statue of Kate. Some reports say the statue is not all gold, it’s of coke but covered in folio’s gold.

I thought the next thing to do would be to make a sculpture of the person who’s the ideal beauty of the moment,” The artist explained his choice of the muse.

The British Museum has already released a teaser image of the statute. The statue will be on display since October 4 up to January 25.

Marc Quinn’s already created a sculpture of Kate Moss in 2006. But that one wasn’t gold.

Victoria Beckham, the 34-year-old sexy Spice Girl, will make an appearance in Manchester to launch her latest new perfume “Signature For Her” on 29 August.

It was meant to be in London but I said no,” said Victoria. “I said please can I go to Manchester instead? I love Manchester, it’s got a really good feel to it.So I thought why not - I usually spend a lot of time in London. I’m really excited about coming back because, of course, it’s where I met David. Manchester’s just so fashion conscious. And there’s great shopping”.

It will be the first time anyone will get a chance to inhale scent, because the couple is making their new home in LA, she says it simply wouldn’t do to hold the bash anywhere else.

Posh Spice will be personally greeting fans avid to get a keek at the new perfume. Until now it only her new Hollywood pals - Kate Beckinsale and Eva Longoria - who have had a sneak preview.

Described as a “seductive bouquet” of exotic orchid blended with vanilla, candy apple, patchouli and amber, the new bottle is being plugged in no less than glowing terms.

A singer, an actress, a beauty queen, a fashion designer, … that’s still not enough for Beyonce Knowles. According to the recent reports, the star and her mom Tina Knowles are adding a jewelry line to their already-successful brand House of Dereon.

Dereon has reportedly partnered with Carolee Jewelry to create a fashion jewelry collection. Carolee also produces jewelry for Lauren by Ralph Lauren, ABS by Allen Schwartz and Brooks Brothers.

The mother-daughter design team will create a complete collection of jewels consisting of necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings. All jewelry pieces will incorporate various metals, man-made pearls, crystals and more.

I am so passionate about jewelry. As both a designer and a stylist, I know the important role jewelry plays in completing your total look,” Tina Knowles said in the statement.

I love accessories and we’ve always used a lot of accessories, so it was a natural thing for us to do,” said Tina Knowles, creative director. “For the first collection, I wanted to do a lot of things taken from the street. One of the things I love to do is walk on the streets of New York or Brooklyn and see what the kids are doing, and that goes with our mantra - catwalk meets sidewalk. I saw a lot of filled hoops and charm bracelets, that’s what the kids are wearing these days.”

She (Beyonce) was a dressmaker and she loved jewelry,” Tina Knowles said. “I have some of her brooches from the Forties, during her time of fashion. She was an accessories person as well and it’s great to carry that on.”

The collection is said to be affordable with prices ranging from $16- $68. The new Knowles jewelry line is said to hit stores in spring 2009.

She’s the queen of self-promotion but Paris Hilton surpassed herself when she launched a hair extension headband wearing a barely there swimsuit with her name emblazoned across it and a tiny skirt at a photoshoot.

The 27-year-old heiress was supposed to be plugging the Bandit band - which is billed as the first interchangeable hair extension headband - but clearly couldn’t resist the opportunity to be centre of attention.

Paris launched a hair extension headband Bandit and dazzled everyone during the photoshoot in Malibu wearing a tiny swimsuit with her name emblazoned across it, and a tiny skirt. What we liked was a white umbrella with “Paris” emblazoned over the top. What do they call it, narcissism, right?

Anyways, though being there to promote the Bandit brand, Ms. Hilton couldn’t resist the opportunity to be centre of attention.

Snoop Dogg can now add his own fashion line.

Following hot on the heels of successful rap icons turned fashion designers like 50 cent, Nelly, Jay Z and Damon Dash, Eminem and Diddy, Snoop Dogg just launched his own fashion label, Rich & Infamous, which he will promote through his E! reality show Father Hood and hip hop music. He will even be producing his own fashion shows, which he will host, during his upcoming world tour.

Snoop is teaming with Robert Thorne, the CEO of the management firm Robert Thorne Co., who helped build Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen’s billion-dollar business with clothing and licensed merchandise.

The Rich & Infamous streetwear line will made at men between 18 and 35 and was developed in combination with brand manager the Robert Thorne Co., licensing firm IMG World and design house Industry Concepts, the show business trade newspaper Variety reported Monday.

The Rich & Infamous brand is sculpted from Snoop Dogg’s trend-savvy classic vision,” Robert Thorne, CEO of the Robert Thorne Co. brand management firm told Variety…

For Snoop Dogg, the name represents “a fraternity of sorts — from presidents to gangsters — who’ve been able to endure the burden of gaining wealth at any cost. Garnering equal parts admiration and disdain, these men savor the fruits and relish the spotlight,” Thorne said.
