Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 season is notable for abundance of pretty accessories. And as it turns out it is so difficult to choose some really beautiful and stylish ones. For example, in Chloe range I’ve found at least 5 handbags I’d like to have in my wardrobe. And considering the number of designer collections I’ll go broke if allow myself buying everything I want.

Returning to Chloe Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 collection, I’ll say it is wonderful. Bags are nice to look at and comfy to wear. They are roomy enough and are of cute new design though typical Chloe style is still traced.

Shoes in Chloe Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 range aren’t as good but I’m sure there will be girls who’d think they’re the best. I like the sunglasses very much. Those bright frames will be perfect to add individuality to your look.

Australian designer Kit Willow was one of the first to showcase her Spring/ Summer 2011 collection. The range that I expected to be bright and flashy actually turned out much more reserved with brown and grey colors dominant.
Asymmetrically draped dresses, sarong pants sets, simple but elegant jackets paired with black gladiator platforms – all these looked pretty and modern. Lingerie as outwear trend still slips out in Willow Spring/ Summer 2011 collection despite the fact it is no longer as popular as it used to be in Fall 2010 designer ranges.
Combination of a belted dress with stylish youthful jacket looks great as does the grey and black stripy jumpsuit (will it be as hot as in Fall 2010 season?).

Milla Jovovich fronts ICB Fall 2010 ad campaign posing in a number of rather gloomy outfits. The colors used in garments are mostly dark, including black in plenty, grey and brown. On the one hand, these are the neutrals – hues that will always be in vogue. But on the other hand, who would want to don such tones when it’s already gloomy outside?

Talking seriously, I think the clothes look good. They will definitely become fashion staples and will serve its wearer for a very long time. But they do look too traditional, too classic. We want something innovative now, something that would look fresh.

Milla Jovovich has done ICB campaign for the second time already. Now she isn’t only the face of the brand, she’s participated in designing, too. So, this range must be very close to her.

As I have already mentioned I like when luxurious designers create for ordinary customers through collaborations with democratic brands. Just a couple of days ago I wrote that Lanvin was working with H&M, and now it’s time to note that Topshop asked Katie Shillingford, editor of Dazed and Confused, to help design the Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 collection.

The Topshop lookbook we see here is the result of this collaboration. And as far as I can see the result is good. There are lots of cute and stylish items. Plenty of lace, leather, knit, mannish boots – all these make the range attractive for younger generation of buyers.
There are three main directions the designers went to make the Topshop Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 collection complete: Out of the Wild, Dark Nouveau and The Outsiders. Each is different but each comprises sexy, demure, wild and polished clothing – all together.

Lady Gaga is the weirdest person I know. Everything she does she does for public. Eccentric outfits, extravagant behavior, performance one can hardly ever forget – all these she does to amaze her fans, little monsters, as she calls them. And if her previous doings were more or less inoffensive what she’s done now is just out of all reason. Posing in raw meat bikini for Japanese Men’s Vogue is something I will never even try to understand. It’s too much.
Photographed for Japanese Men’s Vogue Lady Gaga is all nude with cuts of red raw meat covering her body strategically. Even her head has a slice of flesh on it. I wonder what she must be feeling at that moment. Disgusting. Really.
This Gaga’s shocking outfit hasn’t gone unnoticed, of course. Animal rights campaigners have already condemned the singer saying:
Meat represents bloody violence and suffering, so if that’s the look they were going for—they achieved it.”
Ingrid Newkirk, president of animal rights campaign group PETA said:
Lady Gaga’s job is to do outlandish things, and this certainly qualifies as outlandish because meat is something you want to avoid putting on or in your body. No matter how beautifully it is presented, flesh from a tortured animal is flesh from a tortured animal.”
What do you think of Lady Gaga’s latest venture? Would you wear a meat bikini to attract attention?

I’m sure Giorgio Armani has already got accustomed to receiving various fashion awards. But who can say that getting just another one wouldn’t be pleasant? The world-known designer was once again praised for his great talent when he was named the Designer of the Year at the ceremony of GQ Men of the Year Awards.

The list of other winners includes such big names as Jason Statham (Editor’s Special), Jon Hamm (International Man) and Matt Smith (Actor).
Despite the fact it was a boy’s night women also attracted lots of attention. The first to mention here is Gemma Arterton who was named The Woman of the Year. The Quantum Of Solace star appeared at the glam event wearing something that reminded me of a dinner jacket. Extra-high heels complemented the attire perfectly.

Amanda Holden also attended GQ Men of the Year Awards wearing a beautiful asymmetrical blue gown from Project D by Dannii and Tabitha. The actress looked stunning.

Cheryl Cole and her sad family story has been the trendiest topic this year. Everyone wanted to know how she would go through all this drama. Some felt compassionate to her, others said spiteful things. But Cheryl tried to keep her head high and focused on her career. Now with all the rumors subdued Cheryl can talk openly about her marriage. The Parachute singer covers the October 2010 issue of UK Vogue and gives a short but candid interview about her life.

Photographed by Patrick Demarchelier Cheryl Cole looks fabulous on the cover of Vogue UK October 2010 edition. The delicate pink background sets off Cheryl’s face perfectly. And the flowers in her hands as if trying to say this girl needs love and romance.

This has been Cheryl Cole’s second Vogue cover. Alexandra Shulman explains why she decided to feature the X-factor judge again:
It’s been 18 months since we published our original story about Cheryl Cole and despite mutterings that she was a flash-in-the-pan phenomenon, her popularity has stuck, her story continuing to intrigue. She is particularly popular with the Vogue team, since our cover shoot took place only 24 hours before she was diagnosed with malaria. Although she felt really unwell on the shoot, she was a real trouper, sticking with us and working though the day. Of course, at that stage nobody knew what the problem was. We are all very grateful to her for her stoicism.”

Each genius takes inspiration from something. Some need to see the beauty of the sunset to design a piece that will later become a world hit. Others stay alone in a house and think for a few hours. But Manolo Blahnik doesn’t need special preparation for the inspiration to come. As soon as he starts working on a pair of shoes he makes up stories and tales.

Such an approach to the creative process makes it interesting to spend time with the designer while he works. The designer’s niece Kristina Blahnik says:
I have always thought Manolo’s shoes have a lot of character; but then when I went to the factory for the first time and saw them, I realized that Manolo will actually tell a story to himself about a particular shoe when he is cutting the pattern. He will imagine who it will be worn by.”
Very interesting, isn’t it? I wonder what the shoes would be like if Manolo Blahnik thought about me while working in his factory.)))

The Gossip Girl star Blake Lively covers the October 2010 edition of Marie Claire UK. The girl looks pretty and stylish in a chic Chanel black and white dress. Her hair is loose and natural. And hands are adorned with a few beautiful bangles matched to a huge ring on the actress’s finger.
In the interview for the Marie Claire UK October 2010 issue Blake Lively talks about her career, relationship with boyfriend, love to cooking and many other things that will be interesting for you, my dear readers.

Here are some of the highlights from the interview with Blake Lively for Marie Claire October 2010:
Blake Lively on Gossip Girl: ‘I’m on a very commercial show so the last thing I want to do is a commercial movie,’ she expands. ‘I wanna take risks, I don’t wanna play it safe. I mean, I could probably make more money if I did more commercial projects. It would be nice to buy an apartment but I’m 22 and I don’t need to yet.” [She currently shares her rented apartment with boyfriend, Penn.]
