When I think about fashion I think about trends and latest tendencies in the industry that produces clothes for us. I don’t think about Jean Paul Gaultier. This happens because I cannot associate this amazing designer with trends, something that all designers try to stick to. Gaultier is not like others. He is special and this makes him so valuable for us. He creates things that no one can create. His designs are different.

In this post I’m going to show you the hats Jean Paul Gaultier designed for Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 fashion season, hats that you can hardly find in any other range, hats that single out the wearer.

When I look at this diverse range I see so many styles. I find Russian ushanka-hats, headscarves, turbans, berets and even American Indian huge headwear I always admired when I was a child.

Majority of Jean Paul Gaultier’s hats are bright and funky, some are very stylish and there are those that look eccentric, I would even say crazy.

Although at first sight Jean Paul Gaultier’s eccentric hats look almost unwearable I do think that most of them will look great on girls outdoors. But these girls must be also very creative to make up the look with such an unusual hat.
