Lanvin jewelry has always been full of extravaganza but the Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 collection is even more than that. I don’t know what the inspiration for the range was but the necklaces and rings looked like pieces from Viking times – chunky, with lots of heavy metal, feathers and crystals.
Lanvin Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 clothing collection is very close to minimalism and that probably explains why Alber Elbaz decided to dilute the looks with unusual jewelry. Being a fan of this brand I can say I like the collection very much but prefer jewelry from previous ranges more, those that are more feminine and versatile.

This is a pretty wild collection, but I love the statement look. I’ll definitely be looking into toned down versions for the Fall, especially the collar necklaces.
