Claire Danes is the new face of autumn Gucci’s fine jewelry ad campaign and replaces Drew Barrymore.

Frida Giannini, Gucci creative director, said:

Claire Danes is a modern icon. For me she is one of the most interesting young actresses on the international scene. She is very natural, fresh and has a carefree attitude that is reflected in the roles she has chosen.

Claire’s sensual, confident beauty and her passionate, independent and strong character embodies today’s Gucci woman.”

The 29-year-old Claire is “excited” about being involved with the Italian fashion house and she says:

I am honoured to be working with Gucci on their jewellery campaign. Frida Giannini is a very inspiring and creative woman. Her vision is extraordinary and I am excited to be a part of it.”

This isn’t the first time for Claire to be a model. Last year, she was a model in a TV commercial for fashion company GAP with actor Patrick Wilson.

Claire Danes looks sun kissed to excellence wearing nothing but jewel encrusted necklaces, bracelets, rings from the new Gucci Fine Jewelry Chiodo Collection. Her strawberry red hair and neutral makeup palette look great.
