Not so long ago we had a chance to see a collection of jewelry designed by Margaux Kent, a designer from Philadelphia. That range was so unusual that it set very deep in my mind. It was all made of Barbie doll parts: hands, arms, breasts, eyes, lips, and other stuff. Not an ordinary approach to jewelry-making I must admit.

Now the accentric designer is ready to show her new jewelry collection which is said to have been inspired by antique books. The range includes only necklaces with pendants and those pendants are all books, made of old pieces of leather, copper and silver.

Looks interesting. But I wouldn’t dare to wear anything of this kind myself, not because I am so coservative but because I prefer more feminine items.

I think you may have this designer mixed up with me – Margaux LANGE – I make jewelry out of barbie doll parts and sterling silver. Wrong Margaux. And I’m not from Philly, I’m from NY.
Loving these little books, style with a story behind them, exceptional, many kudos to the designer!
