Sound Wave Jewelry with Feelings Incorporated
I will never stop being surprised by the people’s talents and imagination. Shoes made of plastic bottles, dresses of cabbage leaves, and now jewelry from a sound wave. That’s absolutely incredible I would say, but it is not!
Sakurako Shimizu invented this way of designing some years ago and since then she gladdens her fans with fabulous pieces which incorporate not only beautiful shapes and metals but feelings you want to be associated with these jewelry items.
For example, if you want to have and wear your beloved girlfriend’s giggle it is very simple to do. Or you may wish to own a ring that says “I do” as a wedding vow. This is what Sakurako Shimizu can do for you.
I must confess that I am in love with this designer and her pieces of jewelry created with laser-cut shapes of the sound wave. This Japanese artist has plenty of wonderful pieces in her collections, including the “bell” cuff, “giggle” necklace, “yawn” brooch, “wow” brooch and others.
Over the years Shimizu has made attempts to find other revolutionary ways to incorporate modernity and technology into her pieces. Her each of 9 rings in a 1999 range represents the average weight of things like a human heart, a bird, or a plant. In 2006 the artist was able to produce HTML-based jewelry.
And I am sure she will not stop as her jewelry is liked by many of us. I wish you to have wonderful ideas as well, and who knows maybe soon I’ll be writing about you and your creations!
