According to The Big Money, Birkin’s are seen as an “investment” in these rugged economic times, when in fact they are more like available fashion pieces to those with large incomes.
They listed Victoria Beckham as an example of such an owner, as according to reports, she owns 100 bags of the classic design, which retail at an amazing $6,000 and $7,000 a pop. Victoria’s favorites are made of exotic skins like ostrich, crocodile.
