William Tempest, who has just made a big step into the world of fashion, is working to consolidate his new position. He is said to have teamed up with Sony to create an exclusive clutch bag for their VAIO P-Series.
The 23-year-old designer has unveiled his first solo collection during London Fashion Week and as a result of that he has been awarded with the Vauxhall Fashion Scout Merit Award, that automatically made Tempest one of the UK’s promising new designer talents.
As part of Sony’s new VAIO Traveller programme, Tempest has been asked to test the abilities of its new VAIO P-series, which claims to keep you connected anywhere and anytime.
He has also agreed to use his designer talents and create a fashionable clutch bag to encase the product, marking some of his signature design flourishes.
Under the influence of his A/W 09 collection, Tempest’s clutch bag features his unique ‘crushed diamond’ print on canvas material.
The soft clutch is being considered as both stylish and functional. It is covered with a layer of clear PVC to give it a futuristic feel, and with a padded inner offering additional protection to the laptop.
Tempest has become very popular among celebrities. His fan list includes such names as Emma Watson and Lily Allen. Such fame will bring popularity to the new clutch bag as well as a stylish gadget itself. Hope it won’t cost so much that only the riches can have it.
