Coco Rocha has always been different from other model girls. She has unique looks, strong personality, confidence to express her own opinion and an incredible talent to show her beauty in an unusual way. Coco Rocha has worked under collaboration with a charitable organization Senhoa, which is based in Cambodia and intended to rescue and rehabilitate young women from the sex-trafficking trade. All the profits from the sale of Rocha’s jewelry collection will go towards the cause.

The pieces in Coco Rocha’s jewelry collection are all elaborate and bold, each a statement maker. And while they look really luxurious the prices are very reasonable starting at $65 for a bracelet, and up to $200. The only piece that is much more expensive is the $995 Rachany choker.

Speaking about how the collaboration was started Coco Rocha said:

Over the course of the next year [I] wore Senhoa jewelry pieces at various red carpet events. As I learned more about the issue of human trafficking and heard the particular stories of these girls that Senhoa assists I knew I wanted to do something more. So we decided that a jewelry collaboration was a great way to lend my voice to the cause.”

Rocha also added that she wanted to make the collection that would reflect her personal aesthetic:

I’m very picky about the jewelry I like to wear so this collection definitely reflects my personal aesthetic. I wanted to create a very fashion forward collection, but still incorporate the wonderful beading work the Senhoa women are known for. I also tried to create pieces that symbolize the Senhoa girl who is being empowered through the program.”

The Canadian model commented on why some of her jewelry pieces cost a lot of money:

I think when people learn about the wonderful cause these pieces support, they won’t feel bad about spending money. Our motto is “accessorize your conscience” and really, no one has a reason to feel guilty for treating themselves to one of these pieces!”

Versace collection was one of the most noticeable of all Spring/ Summer 2012 designer ranges. Sea-inspired it featured pieces in iridescent colors with sea shell and star prints. Shoes and bags were designed with the same theme in mind.

Versace bags from Spring/ Summer 2012 collection came in two main sizes: average and tiny. Shapes were also limited to two: square Dior-style shape and half-circle bags. Some were created with the help of quilting technique.

If you like sleek bags, classy without too many details and accessories then you would like Jason Wu handbag collection for Fall/Winter 2011/2012. Wu has went for bags with simple and clean lines yet has decorated them with one or two details to jazz up the look. If you want a bold bag there are plenty of colors to choose from. Vibrant satin clutches, deep hued leather clutch bags with metallic decorations and bold shoulder bags with big fasteners and chain straps. These handbags will definitely go well with Jason Wu shoes from Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection.

The color range of the collection is great. You get to choose from classic black and white or monochrome combination of these two, bright blues and reds, and neutral browns. Shoulder bags and handbags feature minimum decorations, just occasional metallic and leather details.

Some clutches are decorated with same details as the shoes but in a more elaborate way so a pair of clutch and shoes will look harmonic but not entirely identical. The everyday shoulder bags and handbags are medium size and their design allows you wearing them both with casual and dressy outfits. Satin clutches are definitely for the evening but they are simple styled featuring a big fastener.

I very much liked the chain-strap leather shoulder bags with decorated corners and fastener in black, white, brown and deep red. The metallic chain looks stylish while the bags’ boxy shape looks quite sharp. Classy monochrome handbags are beautifully styled. Some can be held or worn on the shoulder, while others feature only a handle.

Overall the collection looks nice and it greatly corresponds with the shoes. The details in both are similar but not same so you can easily mix and match them as you want.

Speaking about the Guess Accessories campaign for Fall 2011 itself I can say it is interesting to look at. I love the bright colors and the very high quality of the photographs. Girls look really amazing on those.
