Demi Moore is brilliant on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar April 2010 issue. Fresh and chic the actress definitely looks younger that she really is. Is it her hunky husband that makes her take care of herself so much?

In the interview for the magazine Demi reveals a lot about her marriage, work and her attitude to ageing.
On connection with husband Ashton Kutcher: “I knew it had the potential to be something special right away…It was like meeting somebody that I’ve just known, where you just recognize one another. It was so disproportionate, the level of emotion we were experiencing to the time we had spent together. But when you don’t know someone, you can’t just jump and say ‘I love you. Nice to meet you, I love you! … We used to end our calls or e-mails with ‘And everything we don’t say.’ It just seemed too much, too soon.”

On whether she considers herself a cougar or a puma: “Cougar has become so distasteful. I really hate that expression.” She said recently that when it comes to her relationship, she’d prefer to be called a puma. “It has a sweeter quality, more elegant. And then somebody said to me, ‘Pumas are only for people in their 30s.’”

On the photoshop controversy over her hip on the W cover: “Okay, that is literally my shape,” Demi says. What bothered her, she says, “wasn’t that people were saying it was retouched, it was that they were saying my hip was so badly botched because a hunk of it was taken out. I called the photographers, and they said, ‘We did not touch anything on your hip, your thigh, or your waist. It was the position.’”
It has been revealed today that American fashion label Tommy Hilfiger is to be purchased by the owner of Calvin Klein for 2.2 billion euros.
Phillips-Van Heusen, who has owned Calvin Klein since 2003, has decided to buy the clothing company that belongs to British buyout group Apax Partners. This is going to be the second change of ownership for Tommy Hilfiger in four recent years.

In 2006 the company was purchased by its current owners for 1.6 billion US dollars. It was a troubled period for the brand. Apax fought off competition from few firms including Phillips-Van Heusen to secure the deal.
Now as company goes on sale again Apax says the business is ‘back to its old strengths’ after an overhaul during the past four years.
Apax partner Christian Stahl, who will join the Phillips-Van Heusen board after the sale, said:
In 2006, the business was suffering in the US and had lost its clear positioning – we saw the strength of the international business and together with the management team developed a clear strategy for repositioning and restructuring the US business. We invested heavily for growth and were able to crystallise the inherent value in this iconic brand.”
The number of Tommy Hilfiger stores has nearly doubled to 1,002 from 574 in 2006, and workforce has increased by 1,000.
Seems like Phillips-Van Heusen makes a good investment. We hope the brand will develop into a fashion empire!

It is great to see Gisele Bundchen back. The supermodel, who has recently had a baby, still spends a lot of time with her little son Benjamin and husband Tom Brady. But she already works posing for ad campaigns and fashion magazines.

Her latest shoot was done for Vogue April 2010 issue. Gisele looked more than natural with her baby bump and the baby himself, on a horse and doing yoga on the terrace. The photos seemed to be showing short parts of the model’s private life.

The Brazilian beauty looks slim and toned with no signs of pregnancy seen. She explains that it wasn’t difficult for her to get to her shape again as she has always been an athlete.

In the interview for Vogue the supermodel tells about how she gave birth and what this experience gave her. Besides, she speaks about her face care line Sejaa.

Madonna and Dolce&Gabbana strengthen their collaboration with the new venture – eyewear collection. The line will include six styles and each will have a MDG logo, with M standing for Madonna and DG for the brand.

The collaboration is interesting for both Dolce & Gabbana and the singer.
Stefano Gabbana says in the interview for WWD:
We’re so excited. This further strengthens our relationship with Madonna, and it was a very constructive experience for us. Madonna is very exacting and a professional who seeks perfection in everything she does, and this was no exception.”
Over 50 sketches of sunglasses were sent to the queen of pop but she chose only six and even altereted those to her liking.
Madonna will also star in the ad campaign for the upcoming range. The adverts will feature close-ups of Madonna playing a film noir version of herself along with model Tyson Ballou shot by Steven Klein.
Rosie Tupper is new for our site. Fresh faces are always good. We gradually get tired of seeing the same girls again and again.
Rosie looks pretty and very natural in the photo shoot for Vogue Australia April 2010 issue. She is feminine and young, eyes are big and expressive – that is exactly what is necessary to become a model in a glossy.

Although the girl looks good the shoot isn’t the best I’ve seen. It’s boring. Only dull colors and no action.

Lauren Conrad is one of those designers who prefers to wear her own creations when the time comes to change the wardrobe. She considers it important to make things she would like to don herself.

She commented:
I think if you’re not willing to wear your own clothes, you’re doing something wrong. This line was meant to be about my style and pieces I want to walk into a store and want to buy. If you’re not wearing your own line, you’re taking all the fun out of it.”
By the way, Victoria Beckham has also recently claimed she likes her own styles a lot and she definitely proves her words by wearing the pieces of her dress ranges.
This girl has had some problems with her career and reputation recently. But the memory of her being called a fashion icon by Karl Lagerfeld three years ago are still fresh in my mind.

Now Amy seems to be returning to normal life and her involvement into fashion has been resumed. First rumours appeared a few months ago that the singer was working on a fashion line with the British label Fred Perry. And today the gossip has been confirmed by WWD telling that the upcoming range will include 17 pieces, each developped by Winehouse and the designer team.

The line will feature ‘preppy gingham prints in a palette of pink and black, pencil skirts, girly twinsets, and polo shirts with popped collars’.
According to a Fred Perry spokesperson, the star attended all of three design meetings “where she was closely involved in product style selection and the application of fabric, color and styling details.”
The collection will become available in stores this October.

Do you like fashion advice from celebrities? If yes, read through this to know what Gwyneth Paltrow advises you to wear this Spring.

Gwyneth writes in her GOOP newsletter:
Hands down, our most coveted, most transitional must-have for spring is the dress. Put it in a rich royal sapphire color with classic details that DVF does so well – a fitted waist, tiered bottom and flirty cut – and you have a piece that will take you effortlessly from day to night.”
Besides, the star suggests us wearing the little white dress in all possible incarnations:
The little white dress in all its incarnations, it is the perfect piece to pack for all your summer getaways.”
All-over prints, stripes, textured zig-zags, tie-dye and embellished fabrics will all be hot this spring and summer, according to the actress.
Forget what everyone told you about mixing prints – more is more this spring! Classic military shapes and colors were made totally wearable this season, and the key is all in the details. Balmain showed us how to make blazers sexy with slick, skinny leather pants and shredded T’s.”
To give you these ideas Gwyneth paired with New York-based stylist Annie Ladino. Tell me what you think about these fashion reccomendations.
