While we did expect Emilio Pucci’s signature military-sharp blazers the brand’s designer Peter Dundas flooded the runway with airy gypsy dresses. Those dresses were so amazing and sexy that we immediately forgot about everything that had seemed significant before the show. We dipped into the boudoir fashion, the new world of Pucci.
Dundas revived the boudoir fashion which was unfairly forgotten by both fashionistas and designers. But it was not the fashion we saw back in Fall 2010. The new approach was more demure but truly womanly.

Emilio Pucci Spring/ Summer 2012 collection unveiled during Milan Fashion Week abounded with flowing sheer fabrics, seductive lace and summery prints. Floor-sweeping skirts, cropped tops often in shape of a bra, chic cocktail dresses and summer suits were all made with huge attention to details and looked mesmerizing.

Accessories didn’t come in plenty as outfits could say all for themselves. However, we have to mention the unique way Dundas used scarves to finish his looks for Emilio Pucci. He didn’t only tie those around models’ waists to make accents, he also put those around girls’ elbows to bring attention to these parts of a woman’s body.

At the wedding ceremony Anya Rubik wore a fabulous Pucci dress that was short in front (what wonderful legs she has!!!) and long in the back, with a train. She looked fantastic, like every bride does on her day.

Despite the fact I personally don’t think Katie Holmes is a stylish woman some say she’s a kind of a style icon. Besides, she is the founder and designer of a fashion line together with a good friend. In the interview for InStyle August 2011 issue she says she likes experimenting with new clothing, trying on new trends but always stays true to styles which she looks wonderful in.

Katie Holmes on her willingness to experiment with new clothes: “I’m not afraid to try a new designer or do something trendy, but it has to look right on my body. You don’t want to look like a fashion victim!”

Emma Watson was obviously happy to see her co-stars as she eagerly posed with those for cameras at the photo call.

In the interview for Harper’s Bazaar August 2011 issue Emma Watson confessed not all scenes in the film were easy to play for her. She admitted the most difficult for her was to show anger.

She said:

My acting tutor said the hardest thing for me was to get angry. I almost broke down in tears when they tried to get me to be angry. I said, ‘I can’t do it, I just can’t do it.’”

Emma Watson also mentioned the pressure of the Hollywood in her life. She said the ongoing pursuit to be slim and perfect almost drove her insane.

I feel if I have to work out four hours a day, and count the calories of everything I put in my mouth, and have Botox at 22, and obsess about how I look the whole time, I will go mad, I will absolutely lose it.”

At 2011 MET Ball Kristen Stewart appeared wearing a simple but sumptuous dress by Proenza Schouler which she accessorized with a pair of 19th century Berlin iron scrollwork bracelets by Fred Leighton and strappy sandals.

Victoria Beckham is a great designer. But she seems to be really confident about her skills as well, because she decided to attend the royal wedding ceremony in one of her own creations, a midnight blue dress from her Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collection. She finished her look with a super-high Louboutin shoes and a stylish hat made by Philip Treacy. I love the look but probably it would be wiser to opt for a bit lighter color.

Holly Fulton’s collection is mainly based on frocks with occasional additions of fur jackets and pants. Dresses come in a variety of styles. Sexy minis dominate but floor-sweeping evening dresses are much more glamorous which makes them stand out.

Accessories in Holly Fulton’s Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collection are presented in plenty. Pillbox hats add chic to the looks, extravagant sunglasses make the range more youthful, and jewelry, bags and shoes accentuate the femininity of a modern woman.

If we look in the past we could notice that Audrey Hepburn loved hats because she knew those made her look elegant and chic.

Marilyn Monroe is known for her love to diamonds. But have you ever noticed how often she wore gloves? She definitely liked this accessory.

Katherine Heigl is a fan of high boots, all feminine kinds, especially those made of suede. She wears boots with everything, from sexy dresses to comfy jeans.

Angelina Jolie prefers simple but elegant clothing. She often wears pencil-skirts which accentuate how slim the actress is. Teamed up with jackets and silk blouses such skirts look great on Angelina.

Reese Witherspoon likes cardigans. She has plenty of these and creates numerous combinations which always look stylish on her.

One can hardly imagine seeing Victoria Beckham without skyscraper heels. Even being pregnant the designer can’t resist wearing her favorite style of a shoe.

Gwyneth Paltrow is proud of her slender legs. She shows them off pretty often by wearing mini dresses.

Jessica Alba is in love with scarves. She seems to own tons of these, in any size and color.

The clothing item Eva Longoria wears most often is a dress, a sheath dress. We have seen over a hundred of dresses in this style on the star.

Rachel Bilson is a Chanel girl. She has a great collection of Chanel bags which seems to be her everyday and red-carpet choice. To tell you the truth I haven’t seen Rachel carrying a bag from a different brand. Only Chanel, forever.

Despite the fact she could wear the most fabulous dresses Kate Moss prefers garments which make her feel comfortable. Jeans, blouses and jackets are the best.

Miley Cyrus has always loved biker boots. She wears them both in real life and on stage.

Hilary Duff never goes out without a pair of fantastic earrings. Both at special events and on the daily basis the actress complements her outfits with the jewelry. And she does love scarves.

Charlize Theron is a very tall woman which allows her to wear sandals all the time, even on the red carpet. She doesn’t wear heels.

Miranda appeared at the Balenciaga catwalk just once but she looked great – so natural and attractive. Balenciaga clothing (which I personally don’t consider stylish or interesting) looked good on her.

Balenciaga Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collection unveiled during Paris Fashion Week was rather dull. Baggy sweaters, below-the-knee boring black skirts (though those white with prints looked beautiful), voluminous jackets and vests – all these lacked femininity and were too coarse.

However, there were pieces that deserved attention. For instance, the mesh dresses in bright colors, the ensemble Freja Beha Erichsen wore that comprised of purple trousers and severe three-colored tunic, and pants with leather knee detailing.

The shoes were fantastic, too. The floral-printed pairs with super-high spike heels had soles patterned as well. So, in my opinion, shoes were definitely the best part of Balenciaga Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collection.
