Emma Watson looks seriously glamorous in June/July 2013 issue of W Magazine. The Bling Ring star who poses for Michael Thompson wears retro style waves that give her a silver screen siren look. Actress wears a Louis Vuitton jacket and shorts on the cover but also slips into Erdem and Chanel dresses for the shoot.

Talking with the magazine the actress discussed her latest role in The Bling Ring, childhood and dealing with fame. The star was also asked if she ever tried to be a role model for young girls to which she said that she loved responsibility and never tried to hurry to grow up and ‘be seen as a woman’. Watson said that even when she was still in school she understood that such things like kissing boys wasn’t appropriate to her age or age of her peers.

For her latest role in the movie The Bling Ring, where a gang of teenagers steal clothes from celebrities, Watson had to assume a different mindset to make the character alive rather than parodic.

Nicki is so different from me. How do I try and understand a young woman who loves these things so much that she is prepared to commit crimes to have them?…With Nicki, I was really taking on a character. Some of her lines are so crazy and absurd—making sure she wasn’t a parody was a challenge.

The star also wasn’t used to the wardrobe choices of her character, which included ‘Uggs and very low-slung tracksuit bottoms’.

And at one point I told the costumer designer, ‘You can see my bra strap in this top; shouldn’t we pin it?’ And she said, ‘No, sweetie—Nicki is all about her bra strap showing.’ I was like, right, okay, different mind-set.

For the photoshoot for the magazine though Watson tried a bunch of outfits from famous designer brands (not that she doesn’t wear them to every red carpet appearance). In the black and white shot the actress wears a Chanel dress and Marc Jacobs gloves. In another two images Watson wears an Erdem dress styled with dramatic leather Sermoneta Gloves gloves and Prada shoes; and a Louis Vuitton coat over a dress.

The hair by Orlando Pita looks amazing and very vintage, while the photoshoot itself was styled by Edward Enninful. The issue hits the newsstands on May 28th.

Karlie Kloss models her own jeans for Frame

Karlie Kloss is another model who designed her own fashion collection. Her designer debut is a range of denims for tall women that is to launch in June with a very young denim label Frame founded in 2012 by Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson who wanted to combine LA manufacturing with London style in a pair of jeans.

The new model-brand collaboration resulted from Karlie’s necessity for long denims rather than a desire to make a name brand. The model explains:

I’m freakishly tall, so finding pants that fit is something I’ve struggled with my whole life. My secret to pulling off too-short jeans has always been to pair them with boots and I really rocked the flood-pant trend for as long as I could! It wasn’t until I started modelling at fifteen that I even realized what well-fitting clothes felt like.

Kloss says that she is not a qualified designer and that making this collection simply gave her a better understanding of the fit.

The collection includes skinny and flared jeans with 40 inch inseams and are specifically designed for tall women who struggle to find denims that fit. The new jeans also feature a high waistband, which makes for a totally new cut:

Nobody has ever done this before. It’s not just a case of making jeans longer; the entire proportion changes and denim factories had never cut that way before,

says Frame co-founder, Jens Crede.

Frame’s denims are already popular among celebrity and model folk including Cara Delevingne, Jessica Pare and Ashley Greene. The brand’s styles are cool and relaxed – casual skinny jeans in various washes and colors. Kloss’ flared jeans widen from the knee while the skinny version features a few rips.

We’re just friends who got together and did this for fun. I’m convinced there are other tall women out there who can’t find jeans that fit, but if nothing else, we’ve made the perfect ones for Karlie. She’s set for life!

Kate Upton For Vogue June 2013

Whether it is the vintage swimsuit or a simple t-shirt, Kate Upton maintains her fabulous looks. The 20-year-old model looks stunning of this Vogue editorial. As sources state, Kate Upton has finally made it to the most fashionable magazine and it is not only due to her super-hot forms, it is also her popularity and her blasting personality. Her personality is more people-oriented, as mentioned by Upton herself:

I didn’t buy the magazines that had models on the covers, because I didn’t know them. So I think this kind of gives me, as a model, a personality that people can connect with.

This appearance is her second Vogue editorial, first being Vogue Italia as she steadily moves toward being a Girl of the Moment. However, she is not like zero-sized models of the present times as she has her own curvaceous charms to beat the world popularity, despite the humiliating internet ramblings regarding her body. She has admitted that she learns not to pay attention to the negative attitude:

You sit there and you’re like ‘Is something wrong with me?’ The things that they’re rejecting are things that I can’t change. I can’t change my bra size. They’re natural! I can work out and I can stay healthy and motivated, but I can’t change some things. I really just live my life. I love my body. It’s what God gave me! I feel confident with myself, and if that inspires other women to feel confident with their bodies, great.

Upton takes it with a sense of humor, as she likes her popularity, even though it is sometimes quite negative. She is loved by fashion designers like Michael Kors that enjoy her healthy shape reminiscing about the era when modeling was much healthier. Carey Mulligan For Flaunt Magazine’s Fabrication Issue

Busy with promoting her latest movie Great Gatsby, where she plays Daisy Buchanan, Gatsby’s love, Mulligan opts for strict minimalistic looks while it’s the editorials, where she shines, trying on different amazing looks.

Even at 2013 Met Ball the Great Gatsby star wore a minimalist black Balenciaga dress with cut outs, which she accessorized with Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

This time around the actress tries on not only romantic outfits but also more daring looks. In one of the most impressive photos the actress wears a white corset dress stuffed with red roses, which looks simply amazing.

In one of the other images actress lies on the stone path amongst the red-colored grass in a red dress and a black wig on a pillow of roses.

The editorial is fabulous and shows Mulligan from different sides. An airy lilac dress she wears in a cathedral that makes her look romantic and yet edgy thanks to hair by Jenny Cho, while Alexander McQueen black honeycomb dress accessorized with a bee keeper-like definitely contrasts with the first look.

Yet in an another shot the actress sits on a chair wearing a black ruffled dress with pink lining accessorized with gold cuffs, necklace and head piece.

Kate Moss For Vogue UK June 2013

During her long modeling career no one ever paid attention to her gaze. Now highlighted by thick eyeliner and false eyelashes, her misaligned eyes are sort of obvious. This condition is visible when a gaze is trying to focus on something, and one eye is looking at the object while the other is looking a little bit to the side.

Kate Moss as youthful as she was 20 years ago appears on the cover of British Vogue June 2013 issue. Posing once again for photographer Patrick Demarchelier in Christopher Kane silk-organza and PVC top she is rather dreamy-looking with the Bridget Bardot look, inspiring the 1960′s fashion memories.

Kate Moss was born in UK in 1974, and was discovered in 1988 at age of 14. From her 20 year career she has been doing a lot of activities both fashion and non-fashion related, including charity work for several organizations.

However, we all have our minor imperfections and the misaligned eye condition  didn’t stop Kate Moss from being the most famous British model alive. Actually this cover shot is her 32 Vogue cover appearance and she hasn’t change even a bit, only becoming more elegant and mature and all thanks to her fitness program, healthy dieting and motivation.

Cara Delevingne Cover Miss Vogue June 2013

British Vogue has been keeping the mystery of who would be the first cover girl for the youth appealing Miss Vogue till the latest moment. Now, since it is official, here is what UK Editor in Chief, Alexandra Shulman has to say about the start of this editorial describing Delevingne as:

Miss Vogue made physical with a maverick sense of style and fun.

Later on Alexandra Shulman continues to describe her expectations in the editor’s letter, that is accompanied by an image of herself when she was 15-year-old:

We hope you enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed working on it. Vogue magazine appeals to all ages but I wanted to produce an edition targeted at younger readers, created with your lifestyles in mind. As with the mother magazine, the fashion is meant to inspire even if you’re a bit short on cash.

The cover was caught on lenses by Angelo Pennetta, where Cara Delevingne wears a baby pink tank and a matching skirt over a gray tee. Miss Vogue June 2013 will come along the “bigger sister” Vogue UK, with another famous British model, Kate Moss, on the cover. It is still uncertain whether Miss Vogue will be released each month, or will come out not that often. Carey Mulligan in Prada Coat for Harper’s Bazaar UK June 2013 Issue

Carey Mulligan got a second chance to recover from her latest photoshoot for US Vogue May 2013 issue, where she was criticized for a boring facial expression and ugly outfit. This time the Great Gatsby actress became a cover girl of the Harper’s Bazaar UK June 2013 issue, which I fell in love with.

Stylist of this Harper’s Bazaar photoshoot managed to catch Carey’s inner world the best way, what allowed to reflect it in the utterly soft and touching photos. Shot by the lens of Tom Allen, Carey appears on a cover wearing the light pink Prada coat with chamomile appliqué while standing under a blooming cherry tree. As for the hairstyle and makeup in pastel shades, she wore the minimalistic makeup by Georgie Eisdell, while her hair was pulled into a tousled bun by Jenny Cho. All in all. this cover oozes a truly spring vibe along with delicacy and sensuality.

The subscriber’s cover comes in the black and white color palette. In the picture Carey is laughing with her closed eyes at the same place and with the same look. However, this shot makes a totally different impression and doesn’t exude that angelic vibe as its colored predecessor.

Carey Mulligan Covers Harper’s Bazaar UK June 2013

In the many-sided interview to the magazine Carey shared her thoughts about her husband, shooting Great Gatsby, music that inspires her, etc.

Carey Mulligan on meeting her husband Daniel Day Lewis:

He wrote me this beautiful handwritten note a couple of weeks afterwards just saying how nice it was to meet me and that he’d like An Education. His penmanship was beautiful. The note was the most beautiful thing. If my house was burning down I would save that. It is so precious.

That’s what we used to dance to. It’s also the song that made me laugh hysterically and there were lots of times when I needed to go into a scene with that kind of energy.
