Karlie Kloss models her own jeans for Frame

Karlie Kloss is another model who designed her own fashion collection. Her designer debut is a range of denims for tall women that is to launch in June with a very young denim label Frame founded in 2012 by Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson who wanted to combine LA manufacturing with London style in a pair of jeans.

The new model-brand collaboration resulted from Karlie’s necessity for long denims rather than a desire to make a name brand. The model explains:

I’m freakishly tall, so finding pants that fit is something I’ve struggled with my whole life. My secret to pulling off too-short jeans has always been to pair them with boots and I really rocked the flood-pant trend for as long as I could! It wasn’t until I started modelling at fifteen that I even realized what well-fitting clothes felt like.

Kloss says that she is not a qualified designer and that making this collection simply gave her a better understanding of the fit.

The collection includes skinny and flared jeans with 40 inch inseams and are specifically designed for tall women who struggle to find denims that fit. The new jeans also feature a high waistband, which makes for a totally new cut:

Nobody has ever done this before. It’s not just a case of making jeans longer; the entire proportion changes and denim factories had never cut that way before,

says Frame co-founder, Jens Crede.

Frame’s denims are already popular among celebrity and model folk including Cara Delevingne, Jessica Pare and Ashley Greene. The brand’s styles are cool and relaxed – casual skinny jeans in various washes and colors. Kloss’ flared jeans widen from the knee while the skinny version features a few rips.

We’re just friends who got together and did this for fun. I’m convinced there are other tall women out there who can’t find jeans that fit, but if nothing else, we’ve made the perfect ones for Karlie. She’s set for life!

Karlie Kloss’ Frame denims will be available from June at Barneys New York, Net-A-Porter, and other stockists at $219 for Forever Karlie Flare and $209 for Forever Karlie Skinny.

Kate Upton For Vogue June 2013

Whether it is the vintage swimsuit or a simple t-shirt, Kate Upton maintains her fabulous looks. The 20-year-old model looks stunning of this Vogue editorial. As sources state, Kate Upton has finally made it to the most fashionable magazine and it is not only due to her super-hot forms, it is also her popularity and her blasting personality. Her personality is more people-oriented, as mentioned by Upton herself:

I didn’t buy the magazines that had models on the covers, because I didn’t know them. So I think this kind of gives me, as a model, a personality that people can connect with.

This appearance is her second Vogue editorial, first being Vogue Italia as she steadily moves toward being a Girl of the Moment. However, she is not like zero-sized models of the present times as she has her own curvaceous charms to beat the world popularity, despite the humiliating internet ramblings regarding her body. She has admitted that she learns not to pay attention to the negative attitude:

You sit there and you’re like ‘Is something wrong with me?’ The things that they’re rejecting are things that I can’t change. I can’t change my bra size. They’re natural! I can work out and I can stay healthy and motivated, but I can’t change some things. I really just live my life. I love my body. It’s what God gave me! I feel confident with myself, and if that inspires other women to feel confident with their bodies, great.

Upton takes it with a sense of humor, as she likes her popularity, even though it is sometimes quite negative. She is loved by fashion designers like Michael Kors that enjoy her healthy shape reminiscing about the era when modeling was much healthier. Cara Delevingne Cover Miss Vogue June 2013

British Vogue has been keeping the mystery of who would be the first cover girl for the youth appealing Miss Vogue till the latest moment. Now, since it is official, here is what UK Editor in Chief, Alexandra Shulman has to say about the start of this editorial describing Delevingne as:

Miss Vogue made physical with a maverick sense of style and fun.

Later on Alexandra Shulman continues to describe her expectations in the editor’s letter, that is accompanied by an image of herself when she was 15-year-old:

We hope you enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed working on it. Vogue magazine appeals to all ages but I wanted to produce an edition targeted at younger readers, created with your lifestyles in mind. As with the mother magazine, the fashion is meant to inspire even if you’re a bit short on cash.

The cover was caught on lenses by Angelo Pennetta, where Cara Delevingne wears a baby pink tank and a matching skirt over a gray tee. Miss Vogue June 2013 will come along the “bigger sister” Vogue UK, with another famous British model, Kate Moss, on the cover. It is still uncertain whether Miss Vogue will be released each month, or will come out not that often. April 2013 Magazine Covers

April fashion magazine covers are here and we get to see more models gracing them. Lately celebrities have been elbowed by fashion models that used to grace magazines before the trend of putting celebrities on covers became widespread. Here are the best covers featuring fashion models Anja Rubik, Daphne Groeneveld, Candice Swanepoel, Miranda Kerr, Kati Nescher, Vika Falileeva and Hana Jirickova.

Anja Rubik covered Vogue Turkey’s April 2013 issue. The model who just launched her own shoe and accessory collection with Giuseppe Zanotti wears a piece from Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection.

Hana Jirickova who covers Vogue México looks effortlessly chic and stylish as she dons another Balmain design – a white cutout long-sleeved dress.

Daphne Groeneveld appeared on Harper’s Bazaar Spain April 2013 cover in a colorful Dior dress. The cover is amazing in terms of contrast between light background and bright colors.

Miranda Kerr looks super glam on the cover of Vogue Australia. Photographed by Miguel Reveriego she wore classy outfits from such brands as Prada and Saint Laurent.

Vogue Portugal April 2013 issue cover model is Kati Nescher photographed by Patrick Demarchelier. Wearing a light head scarf and an off-the shoulder dress the model looks ultimately chic and sophisticated.

Candice Swanepoel looks casual and relaxed on her Vogue Spain April 2013 cover wearing a bralet and a pair of black denim shorts. Victoria’s Secret Angel was photographed by Mariano Vivanco in a sexy shoot in which the model wore designs from Balmain, Chanel, and Michael Kors.

Vika Falileeva is another model to grace Elle fashion magazine. Wearing Prada and red moon manicure the blonde looks simply amazing. The editorial also includes outfits from Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Roberto Cavalli, and others.

Update: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley posed for Vogue Brazil’s April issue second year in a row wearing a fur jacket and a wide-brimmed hat. For the photoshoot the model changes into designs from Saint Laurent, Rodarte, Chanel and other designers.

Coco Rocha Is Taking Over Sass & Bide!

Being fabulous is not easy, but being a role model is even harder. Being only 24, the Canadian model seems to be doing her best to be perfect in everything she does. Her career has started to escalate in early 2000s, when she just entered the model industry. Now, she is famous all over the world, with millions of girls looking up to her. Apart from her marvelous looks, Coco Rocha is an activist, as she openly against the eating disorders in the fashion industry.

However, not only that, Coco Rocha is also known to be a charity person. As mentioned by her in one of the interviews: “It’s everything to me. I try very hard to be consistent in both word and deed. If girls are going to look up to me, I want it to be for all the right reasons. There’s a severe lack of good role models in the media today for girls to emulate. I’ve always been careful about the types of photographs I take, the way I could be perceived, and what I stand for, especially when it comes to the charities I support”.

So, keeping this in mind, it is not that hard to guess why her life is such a big issue for everybody. The Australian brand, Sass & Bide has taken advantage of her popularity, as they feature her persona in one of their latest campaigns. However, the campaign is quite unusual. The Canadian model would be featured in her daily activities, wearing casually the pieces from Fall/Winter 2013. Just to give you a clue on how famous she is: Rocha has 7 million followers on the social networks! Are you still not convinced? Well how about that: “Coco captures the raw and natural energy of the sass & bide spirit,” designer Sarah-Jane Clarke says of their choice. “She is unique and individual and complements our brand beautifully.” Pretty exciting, isn’t it? The uniqueness of the project is also in the fact, there would be no professional cameras and post production details – the campaign is a real life with a beautiful girl, who also happens to be a top model.

Rising Model Nouk Torsing Being Dark and Edgy

Being only seventeen, this girl is just striking in her alluring and unusual sharp facial features. Represented by IMG Paris, Anouk Torsing, started out in Development at Fresh Models. Also known as Nouk, she is featured in the FashionGoneRogue exclusive, which uncovers her brutal and twisted feminine facial features, and tall rather anorexic body shape.

Nouk Torsing is styled by Bahareh Ardakani team and lensed by a talented photographer Djamel Boucly, which portray her fierce and “true” animalistic nature. Her beautiful brown hair is being raven black for the shoots, and she is wearing a messy coif made possible by hair stylist Tobias Sagner. Her beautiful eyes, which are the most striking feature in her appeal are becoming the shimmering eyes courtesy of makeup artist Regina Tornwall.

As for her beautiful outfits, she looks stunning both in thoroughly modern looks, which range from embellished gowns to tailored jackets from the such famous brands such as Jen Kao, Avelon and Issey Miyake. Her Netherlands background certainly plays a role in her career development as a model, as her beauty is really unique. Being only about 177 centimers she appears to be all 200, but this done specifically for the photoset, as her exclusive outfits inspired by such famous designers highlight her edgy teen figure, bringing force the feminine vibe, present in every girl!

Fierce, intense, yet really feminine Nouk is really good at showing it off during the photosets, and we must admit there were just a few of them yet. However, being represented by such a big agency as IMG Paris she probably has all the chances of being on top of the fashion industry business. Sporting Lanvin, Marni, Moschino, and Sportmax to the airport the three models Karolina Waz, Emilia Nawarecka, and Maja Salamon look super glamorous in their Elle Poland November 2012 cover shoot.

The airport and airplane are the last places to wear heels to, it seems. But for the sake of fashion the models wear pencil skirts, ski-high heels and shades in creative frames. They also wear massive Lanvin jewelry and accessories and carrying fashionable luggage in lively red polka dots.

While the outfits might not be practical in real life they still look very elegant and chic. Creative accessories add a playful element to the clean-lined pencil skirts and perfectly tailored jackets.

But there are also more playful outfits in the shoot. There is a full skirt pink dress in zebra-like pattern. A fringed pencil skirt in different shades of purple and a striped pajama suit. What do you think about this editorial?
