Brian Atwood’s Spring/Summer 2013 Ad Campaign & Lookbook
Brian Atwood’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection is full of colorful chic shoes. The designer tapped supermodel Eva Herzigova to front his Spring 2013 ad campaign as well as had his designs lensed in a campaign-like lookbook.
Lensed by Mert & Marcus the ad campaign features naked Eva Herzigova wearing only bright Brian Atwood kicks in a swimming pool. One of the pairs is a platform sandal Sigrid adorned with colorful flowers while the other one is a fuchsia gladiator sandal Zoe with lacing and reptile leather elements.
The lookbook is also photographed poolside featuring both male and female models showing off the sandals, pumps and open toe cutout Electra boots. There is also a pair of blue evening shoes made of shagreen leather.
Other designs include playful polka dot open toe sandals, double platform pumps, and a range of assymetrical sandals in different colors including magenta and chartreuse which are perfect for completing Spring/Summer 2013 outfits.
The collection features mostly sky-high heels but there are also designs with mid-height heels that come in a variety of colors, patterns and textures. Platforms too make a good part of the collection. They are combined with heels and featured mostly in sandal style but there are also pumps in black pony, nude silk, nude patent leather, natural cork, and gold and taupe suede. Strappy gladiator boots are also a part of the collection and come in three colors – black, white and bronze.
Textures range from patent to reptile leather as well as suede and even lace. Finishes also include the trendy metallics that can be seen in Lyn gladiator sandals, Temptation assymetrical sandals, and silver Nico pumps.
