People have always been eager to know what to expect in future. A crystal ball, Tarot cards, coffee fortune-telling – these are just some ways we have come up with in order to satisfy our own curiosity. Regardless of whether they are true or not, we still believe and try those methods. But do we really have to? What are these shilly-shally and pointless efforts to predict future about? You no longer have to play guess-and-check game. Build your own future and just make sure things are functioning your way. Karl Lagerfeld, obviously, supports me in this alternative life credo. Chanel Fall 2013 Couture collection offers a transition between the old world and the new one.
Futuristic Chanel Fall 2013 Couture Collection Establishes New World
I love those suede stocking boots! I couldn’t wait to share my strong affection for them with you. Aren’t they gorgeous? How gracile they look on the models’ legs and how comfortable it would be to wear just them and not bother about tights or stockings! And look at the hats! A gorgeous, elegant headwear reminds me of Victorian times, when all the ladies had to cover their heads with beautiful headpieces. And it has nothing to do with future, you might think. Everything new is well-forgotten old is my philosophical response. What can be better than diving into that atmosphere we can only read about? If this is our future, I am more than happy to skip a coulpe of decades.
The epic past-to-future shift took place in a crumbling theatre setting, designed especially for Chanel show. Sticky dust and the decaying theatre served as some kind of a sign. The old system is about to collapse, so we have to move on and come up with a totally new one, more current and effective.
A three-dimensional concept of fashion was presented on Chanel runway. This gray long-sleeved maxi dress in a metallic hue is very futuristic. If I saw a girl in such an outfit, my uncontrollable sound box would proceed an offensive yet actual What Planet Are You From question. But both of us would know that deep down in my soul I would love to try that dress on. Just the dress though. I have no desire to give up on my sleek hairstyle and neat eyebrows.
The gray maxi suit with a sequined mini skirt over looks totally fresh and awesome. I wonder if the mini is attached to the outfit, otherwise you could vary your look during the day – wearing a whole composition in the office and the shorter version at night. Very saucy and sophisticated, this outfit lacks some jewelry pieces though.
Tweed skirt suits in different colors and patterns will be super popular among the businesswomen and just ladies who prefer classic style. No matter which one you choose, it will create an image of a successful and self-sufficient woman. And such a woman will definitely rule the future world.
There is something in those evening gowns that captures your eyes and does not let go. I felt like looking back at the light pink twinkly and gauzy dress or the black atlas one with embellished sleeves again and again. There is definetely a good portion of charm and mystery in those splendid gowns.
Chanel Fall 2013 Couture collection is a fresh view of the future fashion. Karl Lagerfeld seemed to empasize the importance and power in the world that the fashion possesses. No matter what a chaos today’s world might become, beauty and style will crawl out of the ruins and bring on a new day.
