I’m a huge fan of Burberry Prorsum and I always expect a lot from this brand. However, I shouldn’t have waited for their Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 collection so much because what they presented was a far cry from their usual designs – not stylish or attractive at all.
Trying to match Town and Field themes in Burberry Prorsum Fall/ Winter 2012 collection Christopher Bailey simply failed to do that. The designs which were showcased during the show looked ridiculous. Classic trenches and pencil skirts came with large puffy pockets, white blouses with balloon sleeves looked horrible paired with midi skirts, and even belts decorated with bows looked ugly combined with all these weird-looking pieces (while they looked so cute on pieces from Pre-Fall 2012 range).
