If previously Diane Von Furstenberg had focused on prints more than on colors, for Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 she did quite the opposite. Not that she didn’t use prints at all, she did. But those weren’t as interesting and eye-catching than colors and their combinations.
Deep purple, bright yellow, mustard, blue and pink hues appeared on Diane Von Furstenberg’s runway in a beautiful sequence, often mixed and blocked, but always fantastic in their manifestation.
As for Diane Von Furstenberg’s designs, they were less structured than usual and more draped but they were still able to show sex appeal and impeccable taste. Cocktail dresses were simple and chic enough to be worn to a variety of occasions while evening gowns, including the incredible glittering black one, would be ideal for the red carpet.
