To tell you the truth I expected much more from Jenny Packham’s Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 collection. Yes, it was luxurious with a few gowns worth to be worn by someone like Duchess of Cambridge, and rather bold with necklines that often went too low, but it lacked originality and exquisiteness – characteristics that distinguished the brand from others.

The focus in Jenny Packham Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 collection was made on evening gowns and a few of them looked red-carpet-ready and totally stunning, for example, the pale coral and blue one-shoulder gowns that featured elaborate draping. The white-and-rosy and cream gowns also looked impresive with shoulders embellished with crystals and sequins.

Speaking about embellishments, we should mention that some Jenny Packham’s dresses looked too heavy due to the use of sparkling stones.
The thing that surprised a bit was the makeup – too dramatic for such creations.
