Lanvin has recently presented their vision of trends for Fall 2013 season during the Paris Fashion Week. The famous high fashion house appears to be deeply fascinated with ornaments, prints and accessories for this catwalk. Let’s explore this new amazing collection!
Lanvin Fall 2013 Collection
As Paris Fashion Week takes its turn, we see more and more of the beautiful trends for the Fall 2013! Just recently, it was Lanvin’s time to present the beauty on the runway, and as we see there is quite a lot! This time it is the prints and accessories, as well as the textures, which dominated the catwalk show of Lanvin Fall 2013 collection.
First of all, there are rich colors presented, apart from prints which is an entirely different theme. The colors are very abundant, ranging from the rich pigments of black and plum purple to ethereal nude colors of office daily wear. There are also some screaming electric blues as well as royal red colors.
Another aspect of the collection is the use of prints. Prints follow the collection entirely, appearing here and there. For inspiration Alber Elbaz, main creator behind Lanvin brand, chose to be rather in a spring mood, using such decorations as butterflies and flowers, but the brand did it so unique that the overall collection doesn’t appear too cheerful.
There are a lot of daily wear pieces, which appear to be very high standard official outfits with an elegant flair. There are also a few cocktail dresses, such as that amazing red dress with large prints of butterflies upon it above. Apart from prints there are also textures, which play an important role in the collection. There are lots of natural fabrics, and there is also leather and fur.
However, the most apparent part of the Fall 2013 collection by Lanvin is the use of heavy oversized accessories. They follow you everywhere, even when you don’t expect them. You see necklaces which scream into your face words or shapes. Overall, the general impression of the collection is as of a very sophisticated line specific for the elegant and the strict, with some tendency for fashion.
