Temperley London’s Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 collection was the first range unveiled during London Fashion Week that I saw and it was so wonderful that I doubt there would be any other collection that could impress me more.
Clearly inspired by Slavic culture, Russian in particular, Temperley London Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 collection abounded with folk elements like specific embroidery, luxurious fur hats, massive jewelry and other. Prints were bright and romantic and reminded me of long peasant gowns women wore in ancient Russia.
There was also Cossack influence that felt in Temperley London’s Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 collection. Military coats came long and chic finished with leather insets. Teamed with feminine gowns printed with flowers these coats looked especially attractive.
