Fashion shows are very different. There are those which are inspiring and positive and others are disappointing. But I have never seen a show like Charlie Le Mindu’s before. I have never felt that sick of a presentation.
While nudity is normally great and attractive the one I saw during Charlie Le Mindu’s fashion show was repulsive. Not because the girls were ugly but because there was blood (fake one of course but that doesn’t change my attitude to it), lots of it. I remembered Lady Gaga immediately and then found out she considered this designer one of her favorites.
Speaking fashionably I must admit some of the clothing pieces were wearable in Charlie Le Mindu’s Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collection (inspired by violence): the shoes (those which weren’t splashed with fake blood all over) looked interesting, especially white hairy ankle boots, lace-and-cellophane coats, etc. However, there wasn’t that much clothing actually.
