Utterly glam and absolutely wearable gowns from Zuhair Murad’s Fall Winter 2013 collection presented during the Paris Fashion Week Fall 2013 will definitely make you fall in love with them. This Fall Winter 2013 collection by the talented Beirutian designer demonstrated an unexpected side of the designer’s aesthetics as he brought a soft and sensual approach to his latest range.
The fashion house quickly burst into the fashion Olymp and won the dedication of the most stylish A-list celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift and Blake Lively. Being well-known for its utterly glam appeal and feminine designs, which are the brand’s signature elements, this time Zuhair Murad went a different way as he stacked on the effortless chic and the wearability. The chic and glam accents we have seen in his previous creations were left in the past, however the designs from the latest range don’t lack the refinement, elegance and chicness, which have always been associated with Zuhair Murad.
With this clothing range Zuhair Murad proved one more time that he is a truly talented creator that can bring elegance and classiness to the simplest garments.
Zuhair Murad said in the interview dated the previous year that he is not a minimalist type of designer and loves to adorn his creations with details and this particular collection is the perfect confirmation of his words as it features the distinct patterns, lace inserts, embroidery, color-blocking, sequin embellishment, drapping etc.
Zuhair Murad’s Fall Winter 2013 collection started out with the bold dress in the dark palette with the beautiful embroidery on the sides, which brought a sexy vibe to the quite simple silhouette. It was followed by the beautiful tops, shirts and skirts that were both chic and classy along with the bodycon dresses that featured the stunning prints and exquisite embroidery.
Surprisingly two dresses with polka-dot mesh inserts reminded of the gowns we have seen in Stella McCartney Fall 2011 collection, which is a widespread thing in the fashion industry. However the rest of the designs were unique, playful and chic, as usual.
As for the floor-length dresses, they were made with an accent on the woman’s curves, which were emphasized with the cuts on the waist area what created an hourglass effect. Utterly high slits on the sides, mesh inserts, lace and embroidery added a glam and chic feel to the dresses.
Effortless chic was demonstrated through the trouser ensembles and the fabulous floral prints, which added a splash of color into the classical black and white palette. Though this Fall Winter 2013 by Zuhair Murad is not as glam and bold as his previous ranges, it is still definitely worth your attention.
