Jason Wu Intriguing Pre-Fall 2013 Collection
Jason Wu is presenting an intriguing edgy collection for the Pre-Fall 2013 season this time. The collection ranges from the casual day-to-day wearing to the most elaborate and elegant dresses. The collection illustrates clearly the passionate and doesn’t care look alike, having even that retro look to the whole collection. Following the tone set in the previous Spring 2013 collection, Jason Wu has extended that feminine and bold look into his new line, creating something completely outrageously bold and yet very stunning.
The Pre-Fall 2013 collection has a lot of dark hues in it, with the few poisonous bright features, that would instantly make you the center of attention. Some of the features make the impossible, they combine sheer black leather with cutting chevron stripes in black and yellow screaming design. Wu makes it all out, the “Fish scaled paillettes, goddess draping, and signature ostrich-feather embroidery”, everything from the casual jackets to evening gowns and cocktail dresses.
However not only dresses are present in this collection, there also tight pants! But these are very sexy and feminine as well, or maybe it would be better to say – edgy even in this theme! Another hot theme presented in the collection is the bodycon dresses, which are certainly some competition to the elegant evening gowns. But we must admit, these gowns are simply gorgeous!
So in general, the collection is very diverse, yet offers some intricate pieces that are definitely stunning, while some pieces are just too bold for perception. Nevertheless, the collection has a common strategy of overwhelming with fabric choices and general dark palette of gowns, trousers, cocktail dresses and casual outwear, along with essential parts.
