Despite the fact Zac Posen is a rather young designer (he’s celebrating his tenth anniversary in business this year) he already has the reputation of a talented creator of red carpet dresses which take the mid place between luxurious couture pieces and those which could be worn on the daily basis. Posen’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection features quite a lot of such designs – chic but simple, stylish and very beautiful.
Pre-Fall 2012 collection inspired by Lee Radziwill and Jackie O. is the most recent range presented by Zac Posen. It includes dresses which fall into two categories: those which could be worn to big glam events only – sumptuous ball gowns made of the most delicate and expensive fabrics, with fantastic skirt pleats and shining crystal-encrusted details; and more elegant and sleeker dresses with seaming designed to diminish waist area, bold shoulders and floral prints.
Zac Posen’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection has a diverse color scheme. There are a few black dresses, deep green, blue and burgundy gowns, glitzy silver and snowy white pieces. Coats come in neutral grey and rich purple hues.
To complement his fabulous dresses Zac Posen created a range of jewelry pieces which was perfect to finish the looks his Pre-Fall 2012 collection.
