It is Bill Gaytten’s last collection for Christian Dior. And while it is not the best, it is rather interesting and beautiful. Reserved colors (for the exception of a couple of orange and red dresses), feminine and elegant silhouettes, luxurious fabrics and great attention to details definitely win our hearts in the brand’s Resort/ Pre-Spring 2013 range.
Leather tops with peplums, classic pencil skirts, stylish skirtsuits, and dresses with puffy skirts are not new to Christian Dior, they represent the signature features of the brand. However, there were fresh elements which made the Resort/ Pre-Spring 2013 range look more modern and romantic. These include floor-length printed gowns, midi tutus and cropped pants.
