Time passes by incredibly fast. Seems like it was just yesterday when I checked out the first show of New York Fashion Week and now it is already time for Milan to step in. This is the moment I (and I am pretty sure most of you) have been anticipating for a very long time. The reason is pretty obvious. Milan Fashion Week as always gathers the most outstanding designers, such as: Gucci, Roberto Cavalli, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Fendi and many others. Today I invite you to take a look at the Spring/Summer 2014 collection by Dsquared2.
Dsquared2 Spring/Summer 2014
Dean and Dan Caten, the twin brothers and founders of Dsquared2 worked hard on the Spring/Summer 2014 collection. I wonder how much imagination one has to have in order to come up with something like that. Well, it might be that the secret of the brand’s success lies within the family. Who knows, maybe there is some kind of a inherited talent or anything else that the brothers got from their ancestors. Or it might be way more simple. The two men coordinate their ideas and thoughts and work as a team.
Whatever it is that led to such a magnificent line, it worked out perfectly. I love all the outfits, even despite the fact I wouldn’t don half of the clothing pieces. Not that I find them unsuitable – it’s just that I have no clue where I could possibly sport this incredibly tiny strapless dress in pink. And you will spot more frocks in a similar style. Yes, they are no doubt super hot and fabulous, but still… Even if I come up with a possible location, it would be pretty hard to move around in such a dress, for any extra movement may lead to undesirable consequences.
There are more modest outfits though. For instance, an ivory strapless dress with high waist and bouffant skirt. The length is incredibly moderate, which makes the frock look very elegant. I like how it is matched with reddish-orange scarpins, massive earrings in gold and a saucy clutch. The sunglasses with pointy edges and carrot lipstick add some glam shine to the ensemble.
Dsquared2 Spring/Summer 2014 also features blazers, coats, capri pants, crop tops, shirts, bags and hats. In other words an impressive variety of clothing pieces to make your day.
