Zac Posen, who knows well how to bring the drama, believed the Parisian customer could understand him better than the American one. Facts proved the different thing. And luckily for us, after a year-long absence, Zac Posen returned to New York and his Spring / Summer 2012 collection was already displayed as a part of New York Fashion Week.
Zac Posen’s Spring/ Summer 2012 collection reminded of designer’s early creations. Dresses came in deep chic colors and with plenty of details. Every piece looked stunning by itself and together with others it formed an entire parade of luxury and elegance, so characteristic of Zac Posen.
Majority of dresses were made with corsets to highlight women’s curves. These dresses all had an accent on the waist. Some were too hobbling but that was the perfection young Hollywood would love.
While most of Zac Posen’s designs would never been worn further than the red carpet, some of the outfits created especially for Spring/ Summer 2012 season were rather wearable. The pale-blue knee-length dress is my favorite and it would be ideal for many occasions.
The red prom-style strapless piece is no less impressive. It is sexy and would look simply amazing on almost everyone.
Zac Posen paid huge attention to jewelry in his Spring/ Summer 2012 collection. The elaborate design of it literally left me speechless. But it were shoes that I loved the most. Totally my style – sexy, stylish, elegant… What else would a woman need?
