Fall 2008 shoe trends are bold, sparkling and sometimes a little wild as animal prints, primary colors, crystals, and motorcycle inspired . By the way, suede and satin are back this fall too!

So here are the hottest styles for Autumn/Winter 2008/2009:

Ankle

Jimmy Choo berry ankle boots

You’ll find them in all shapes and sizes, from fierce gladiator , which are like wintry version of this summer’s hit gladiator to femme-fatal. If you have short legs or thick ankles, any footwear cropped at the ankle won’t make your legs slimmer or longer. So for a more flattering effect try a slimline, low cut, dark colored-style and wear them with the matching tights or skinny . That way you visually extend your legs and make them slimmer.

Cuffed Ankle Boots

Fringe

Fringe boots

Military

Don’t be afraid to look a bit less feminine this fall. Though when pairing military with some cute dress you get a totally new and bold look. Try to put on a new face for a while!

Flat

Steve Madden flat boot

Knee high slouch

Diesel knee high slouch boots

Tall cuffed

Cole Haan tall cuffed boots

Puss-in- style makes a comeback these days. Whether you like them flat or with heels these look great over tights of a similar tone or skinny .

Exotic skins

Gucci snake skin shoes

Exotic skins, especially snake skin is hugely popular this upcoming season. Snake skin was one of the main highlights of Gucci Fall/Winter 2008/2009 women’s collection – along with matching bags.

Giraffe and leopard prints are great on pumps, stilettos and wedges. There’s only one thing you should keep in mind when turning to animal prints – everything is good in moderation.
