Footwear with open toes: what to wear with?

We have seen plenty of open-toed ankle boots and knee-high boots on the runways for this season. They are becoming more and more popular but sometimes we feel unsure of what to wear with them as it’s often much colder outside than at the catwalks.

Salvatore Ferragamo decided the following combination will be the best: ankle boots + tights + a dress + a jacket of free tailoring.

Givenchy’s ankle boots were among the brightest. They were paired with pantyhose with open toes, opaque knee socks, dresses, trousers, jackets and coats.

Marni’s collection included lots of ankle boots and knee-high boots. The choice of the designer was to wear them with tights and knee-high socks of contrast colors, skirts and dresses.
