Once a year Forbes names Top 100 Most Powerful Women in the world. This list usually includes women presidents, first ladies, politicians, singers, writers and also those who are related to fashion industry.
I think it is not surprising that Michelle Obama in on the first place of this Forbes list. She does a lot for America and is very popular all over the globe. Lady Gaga, who is interesting to me as a great performer and a fashion icon, occupies the seventh position. Madonna, the singer and fashion designer, is number 29.
Heidi Klum, who has been a model for many years and now designs clothing for women, goes under 39th number while Sarah Jessica Parker, thanks to Sex and the City and her role in Halston, occupies the 45th place.
Super powerful, in my opinion, if we talk about the fashion industry, Anna Wintour is number 56 on the list. The highest-paid supermodel Gisele Bundchen is on the 72d position. Designers Tory Burch and Vera Wang occupy positions 88 and 91 respectively, while Donna Karan is on the 96th place. Angela Ahrendts, Chief executive in Burberry group, in number 97.
