Lanvin director Alber Elbaz has created a box of designer Macaroons in collaboration with Ladurée. The illustrated box of eight bubblegum flavoured macaroons depicts sketched fashionistas exuding comments on the delicious confections as well as stating their love for Lavin, and a red Lanvin logo. The finishing touch of the box design is a big red ribbon bow.

The brand states that:
The Lanvin creations of Alber Elbaz not only make women beautiful, but also prove that sweets and beauty can go hand in hand.
They say that a delectable air of childhood surrounds those with a soft spot for sweets; this playful aura still follows Mr Elbaz, despite his role as a prominent couturier today.

Ladurée has introduced macaroons to their assortment in the beginning of 20th century when Pierre Desfontaines has created a now widely famous confection. Pastry chef Vincent Lemains, however, is behind the pink bubblegum Lanvin macaroons that come in orange, bubblegum pink, and fashionable wine red.

Designer macaroons will hit the stores on September, 25-28 in France and UK accordingly.
