Miley Cyrus’s Jewelry Line Dangerous For Health
Miley Cyrus’s jewelry is no longer sold in Walmart. The decision to remove the accessories from the shelves of the supermarket is explained by the fact that some items in the range have been proved to contain high levels of toxic metal – cadmium.

When worn, the jewelry is no way dangerous for health, but if it is ingested for some reason serious kidney and liver problems can occur.
Although the jewelry collection is not intended for kids’ wear some of the pieces are very popular with younger customers. And if these pieces are “sucked, bitten or swallowed” the cadmium could prove toxic.
A statement released to E! News on behalf of all parties involved read:
The Miley Cyrus and Max Azria line is not for children. It is sold in our ladies apparel section and it was designed for and marketed to older audiences.
However, it is possible that a few younger consumers may seek it out in stores. Miley Cyrus and Max Azria jewellery is not intended for children, but as part of our unwavering commitment to protecting the safety of children, we are removing all of the jewellery from sale while we investigate its compliance with our children’s jewellery standard.”
Not a good start in business for Miley. But fans’ health must be much more imporatnt for the star than money. Am I right?
