There have been some rumors I refused to believe in about Sarah Jessica Parker leaving Halston. But now it seems that I will have to admit it as the Sex And the City actress told Vogue US about the end of her fashion relationship with the brand. No comments have been made from either of the sides about what has happened so far.

Sarah Jessica Parker, who graces the cover of the Age issue of Vogue US August 2011, has mentioned in the interview for the magazine that her collaboration with Halston has come to an end.
Vogue said:
When Sex and the City, to her own surprise, made her a fashion star, she launched her own design label and perfumes, as well as signing on to run the Halston Heritage label, a relationship that recently came to an end.”
I don’t know what has caused such a change (I really tried to find ANY details!) but in April news broke that Halston was nearly bankrupt and was seeking financing. Probably this or Sarah Jessica Parker’s lack of designing experience has lead to it, but I feel really frustrated. I liked how she transformed the Halston’s vision of a modern woman.
