When you say ‘I do’ before the altar you believe it will last forever. You are in love and you don’t think that one day this feeling that almost makes you fly now can disappear, being replaced by disappointment and sadness. However, it happens more and more often in our days. People separate, get divorced and try to build their lives from the beginning. Vera Wang, the designer who makes very beautiful bridal gowns and this way contributes to our happiness on the big day, has announced that she and her husband Arthur Becker have decided to go different ways, after nearly 23 years of marriage.
Vera Wang and Arthur Becker Are Divorcing
The president of Ms Wang’s company, Mario Grauso, said in a statement:
Vera Wang and Arthur Becker have mutually and amicably agreed to separate. They remain devoted parents to their two daughters.”
The couple that hasn’t lived just two weeks to their 23rd wedding anniversary both run the eponymous fashion house, so they are still going to work together. A friend of the designer commented:
They will not let this impact the running of the company. They have worked too hard to build it up.”
No details on the reasons for the separation have been revealed yet and will never probably be. All we know is that the two have been happy together. They have had good and bad days, just like all of us. And all we can do now is to wish them all the best as it will be really hard for them to start everything over again.
