Victoria Beckham’s fashion empire is growing pretty fast and her profits are becoming more and more impressive. This year Posh has earned more than £60 million ($96 million) from her eponymous label. And with her new line Victoria by Victoria Beckham the number will be even higher the next year.

Tiffany & Co have joined Christian Louboutin‘s fight for trademark colors. While the shoe designer tries to win the right to be an exclusive producer of red soles the jewellery company demands that blue boxes are their own trademark and no one could copy those.

Louboutin’s lawyer told WWD:

We are enormously pleased that Tiffany has weighed in. Tiffany has not only agreed with our arguments, but it also put forth arguments that strengthened the case and made the point that the [earlier] decision should be reversed.”

However Tiffany’s lawyer is more careful about his comments:

Tiffany is not taking sides in this dispute. We are only trying to assure that this area of the law is not disturbed by an overbroad decision in the lower court.”

Louis Vuitton is planning to release their first fragrance. The company has already hired Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud, who is a third-generation perfumer from Grasse, France, to work on the perfume starting from January next year. It will not be the first Louis Vuitton fragrance in history but the brand hasn’t released any since the 1920s.

Miu Miu have invited an older model to pose in their Resort 2012 ad campaign – Guinevere van Seenus. The beauty has come to substitute teenage actress Hailee Steinfeld at the position. The ad looks very fresh and beautiful.

Christian Dior’s sales rose up 27 per cent within the period of the first nine months of 2011 compared to the same period of 2010. Experts explain the sudden boost by the great attention of the public to the label since John Galliano’s dismissal. They say “all press is good press”.
