He is not Justin Bieber or David Beckham to be admired by millions but he is definitely a mogul in the fashion industry. Karl Lagerfeld, who is one of the most talented designers of our time, now has his own wax figure which is located in the Panoptikum Museum in Lagerfeld’s hometown of Hamburg, Germany.
Karl Lagerfeld: Wax Figure and Real Photo
The wax figure, which bears strong resemblance to Karl Lagerfeld, took artist Saskia Ruth a year to complete. According to Ruth she has placed special emphasis on Lagerfeld’s “typical facial expression, his clothes, and his hairstyle.”
Lagerfels’s wax figure has joined those of Marilyn Monroe, Pope Benedict XVI, Princess Diana, Harry Potter, and German chancellor Angela Merkel.
