It seems like Karl Lagerfeld really loves his cat if he has named one of the new Chanel handbags after it. The Choupette bag, which was presented during Chanel Fall 2012 Haute Couture fashion show has been previously described by Cathy Horyn as “knitted, soft”. She tweeted before the show: “Just saw the Choupette bag in the studio at Chanel. Knitted, soft. Name of Karl’s cat.”
Choupette became an Internet sensation after Lagerfeld posted a picture of her playing with an iPad in May.
