11th Annual White Tie and Tiara Ball 2009

In July 1999 Singer and social man Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish organized the first White Tie & Tiara Ball glam event in their Old Windsor castle.

This event raising money for the Elton John’s AIDS Foundation and then it became an annual occasion hosted by Elton and David.

Now it’s one of the premier fundraising events of the UK.

The ball always allures an affluence of famous people.

The 11th Annual White Tie and Tiara Ball to Benefit Elton John AIDS Foundation in Association with Chopard was held at Elton John’s home in Windsor, England, June 25, 2009.

Guests list was presented by Elizabeth Hurley, Lily Allen, Kate Beckinsale, Tamara Mellon, Chace Crawford, Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy, Justin Timberlake, Kelly Osbourne, Erin O’Connor, Geri Halliwell  and more.

Also among the star-studded crowd were Rachel Stevens, Natalie Imbruglia, Matt Lucas, David Walliams, Kate Beckinsale, Tracey Emin and Lisa Snowdon.

Elizabeth Hurley was again on top in white floor-sweeper, with signature smoky eyes makeup and tumbling curly tresses.

Geri Halliwell, one of Spice Girls was in a beaded, split-to-the-thigh empire-line gown.

Who looks better Liz or Geri?
Legendary singer Shirley Bassey opted purple and old friend Lulu chose sheer, one-shouldered black.

Lily Allen, who stayed with platinum blond bobbed wig, was in a delicate lace dress. Erin O’Connor, posed in a black shift.

Kelly Osbourne looked great! The main accent was on her bright orange clutch.

Actress Claire Danes came with fiance Hugh Dancy. She opted for a metallic gown.
