Antonio Berardi turned down Lady GaGa’s offer to collaborate. The Milan designer said the singer’s songs were meaningless and that was the main reason he didn’t want to team up with her.
He explained:
I was approached to design a clothing range with Lady GaGa but I knocked it back because I wasn’t interested in someone whose music is meaningless.”
The designer, whose fan list includes big names like Victoria Beckham, Megan Fox, Amber Rose, Eva Mendes and Gwyneth Paltrow, seems to be very careful in the choice of partners.
He said:
Her music is meaningless now so what impact will it have in 20 years?”
Sorry for Lady GaGa, really.
