She was dressed in a beige Dolce&Gabbana pencil skirt, a fitted white tank top, 5-inch black platforms and diamond rings.

She talks about glamour and fashion:

I’m big fan of glamour, It’s something I don’t think there’s enough of in Hollywood anymore. I enjoy putting on a sexy dress and heel. I want to work it”

About love:

My heart got broken so many times because I put so much pressure on it. And then… I got blindsided. [Hayes] showed me the way, and all was right. This is how it’s supposed to be.”

Kate Hudson on UK Cosmopolitan February 2009

Kate Hudson is fresh and smiley on the cover of British February 2009 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine.

She talks about her personal life and marriage.

The Bride Wars star also tells how she spends her free time.

Here are some highlights:

On being single:

I’d always been the kind of girl who really loves being in a relationship – I don’t think I’ve been properly single since I was 17 – so it’s always where I’ve felt at my best. But this time it’s different. I’m single and all of my friends are with someone, and that’s never happened before … It’s really nice to sit up at night and read a book, or knit – I love knitting! … I even love sitting there and sometimes being a bit bored, because it makes me appreciate the times when I do do things with my friends … I definitely want to incorporate this new ‘me’ into my next relationship, where you still do things by yourself.”

On dating:

Dating is a funny one. I’ve never sought love out. I’m a big believer that women should just live their lives and if it happens, it happens.”

On consider getting married again::

I don’t know. Who knows who I’ll end up with, and if marriage would even be important to them. I dreamt of the fairy-tale love story – but not so much of the wedding. I never pictured the type of dress I’d wear. For me, it was more about finding the man I was going to have children with. I didn’t think I’d be looking for more than one, though!”

On her friends:

There’s a core group of us. Three I met before the age of 16; the others when I was about 21 … we’re the complete opposite. We talk about everything. Although, we don’t talk behind each other’s backs … We don’t say something unless we’d say it to that person’s face. When I was younger, my friends were just there. Now I have to make an effort. I’m definitely more demanding of my friends now too. I don’t mean in terms of what I expect from them; I mean as people. For example, I’m the kind of friend who, if I see that someone has got potential in their life and they’re not fulfilling it, I’ll tell them.”

On being honest:

I think it’s fine for people not to get along, as long as it’s out in the open. I have a problem with people who sweep things under the rug … I had one friend whose boyfriend I hated, and I just said to him, ‘I’m sorry, I just don’t like you and I have no idea why you’re together’ … It didn’t come out in a mean way though.”
