+J new line for Uniqlo by Jil Sander
Jil Sander launches her own fashion line for Japan brand Uniqlo, called +J, with simple black logo.
She is working on the Fall/Winter 2009/2010 launch for +J, but also Jil complicated in Uniqlo’s other outfits and accessories and accessories designs for men and women.
Uniqlo holds commercial rights to Jil Sander’s name for the new collection.
The collection will contain about 40 pieces for men and 100 for women, including coats, jackets, knitwear, T-shirts and accessories.
The prices don’t sound.
The +J collection will be sold at Uniqlo’s stores in big cities and on the brand’s own Web site.
A launch date of the line has not been set yet, said a Fast Retailing spokeswoman.
Jil has been working with Uniqlo since March and it was her long-awaited comeback to the fashion world.
She disappeared for five years since she left her namesake house after clashing with the brand’s then-owner, Prada Group.
