A bodacious body, brown hair and an beautiful face, and you get one fine woman. This is certainly the case with Keira Knightley. Her corset-wearing character Elizabeth Swann in Pirates of the Caribbean was one of the fashion highlights of summer 2003. In fact, she’s so fine.

Sexy Keira Knightley is on the cover of American Vogue‘s September 2008 issue: 798 Pages of Brilliant Fall Fashion.

Anna Wintour chose Keira Knightley for the cover, which has been shot by Mario Testino.
Keira still looks like a spoiled little girl playing skeletron before our eyes.
The cover title reads that Keira is a “fashion star, pirate queen, history’s sexiest Duchess.” Her new film The Duchess (about Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire, who was Princess Diana’s great-great-great-whatever, and the Paris Hilton of her day) actually opens in the UK on September 5 2008 and in limited release in the USA on September 19.
The British actress, 23-year-old, last done the June 2007 cover, which was the second-lowest seller of that half of the year. It sold over 405,000 copies.

Keira Knightley is on the September issue 2008 of Tatle magazine. On the cover picture Knightley is dressing a lovely pink dress. She talks on what frightens her on being famous. Keira looks wonderful with her smoky eyes make up on these photoshoot by Thomas Nützi.

She says she is comfortable with her figure despite being under constant scrutiny over her weight and recently hired a personal sport trainer, who has helped her feel better about her appearance.

On buying designer clothing:

I think as you get more well known, more designers lend you dresses. But you always give them back like Cinderella because you shouldn’t be buying them; £20,000 for one night?! As far as expensive stuff goes , I’m not good at shopping – I’m better at cheap stuff.”

On her friendships with other women:

I don’t think I’m very good at figuring out female friendships. I think they’re quite tricky to navigate. I have a lot of friends who are guys and I find that manipulation and jealousy don’t come into it as much, whereas those things can happen easily between women.”

On Sienna Miller:

I love Sienna. I think she is a wonderful actress. But we’ve been like two ships in the passing night recently. I think that’s what’s lovely but also sad about acting. You get incredibly close to people for that moment and as soon as it’s over you don’t see each other. You’re away from home, in this case Wales. It’s a very intense relationship for a while, and then it’s not anymore.”

On her first singing audition for the remake of My Fair Lady:

I told him [producer, Cameron Mackintosh] that [getting drunk] would be the only way I could sing in front of everyone.”

On her own insecurities:

At this particular time, I probably am more comfortable with myself. But I don’t believe anybody who says they don’t have any insecurities and moments of feeling completely crap about themselves. I don’t think it does anybody any good to pretend those moments don’t exist. But just now I’m having a lovely time.”
