Fashion industry is really getting tough to enter successfully if you’ve got too little of a talent. Lidsay Lohan has been the latest to feel that. Her debut designs have been unveiled during Paris Fashion Week today.
As we have told you before Emanuel Ungaro hired the actress to work together with the brand head designer Estrella Archs in creating Autumn/Winter collection.
But as it turned out Lindsay wasn’t the perfect choice.

Commenting on the collection, Hilary Alexander, fashion director at the Daily Telegraph, said:
The best that can be said is that they tried.’
Well, the collection wasn’t bad but it wasn’t fantastic either. Lindsay has no experience in designing and probably she doesn’t feel right about fashion. So I think her advice shouldn’t have been so relevant if Emanuel Ungaro wanted to do well.

Although the collection didn’t seem to be too much exciting Lohan’s appearance did make a big buzz. The 23-year-old turned up dressed in a white mini dress and red stiletto heels. She looked impresive but was very afraid her fashion try could be a failure. The star admitted that the show has been ‘the hardest thing I’ve ever done’.

However, Ungaro insisted they were happy with the results. President Mounir Moufarrige, who invited Lohan to be an ‘artistic adviser’ to attract younger customers, looked pleased with the collection as well as the backstage scrum of photographers and television crews.
He seemed to be confident about the marketing boost thanks to the participation of Lohan in the project despite the fact Lindsay wasn’t the best-behaved person lately.
It’s always risky in business,’ he said of Lohan’s reputation in an interview with Reuters after the show.
But he said in the end, the focus was on the product.
It’s the clothes that talk. People are interested, and our business is to sell.’

Lindsay Lohan is so “Type A” as the dalliance in analysis goes. What does she have to worry about? What is the story of what drives her to work this way?
This is really fascinating to me.
I like Lindsay Lohan–I like very specific individuals who capture what I think are the most significant qualities to life as a star.
