Amazing woman and popular singer Madonna posed for Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 Ad campaign shot by Steven Meisel in New York.
Steven Meisel shot photos for her controversial 1992 book Sex and also made the previous season’s ad.
Very photoshopped pictures for the ad show us pop singer wearing clothes in her 2009 Met Gala style, but in purple colors, completing her look with 1980s-styled mesh fingerless gloves and large Louis Vuitton monogrammed handbag.
As we know Madonna is in irrefutably great shape for a 50-year-old woman. She looks too young to be a mother-of-four in the new photoshoot for Louis Vuitton’s Autumn/Winter 2009 collection.
This campaign does Madonna look a little more virginal than what has come before.
The previous Louis Vuitton advertisement in December for Spring/Summer 2009 line was certainly more sexual.
After the fun we had with the Spring/Summer campaign, and the amazing reaction to it, all of us – Madonna, Steven and myself – were eager to get back together for Fall/Winter,” comments Marc Jacobs. “While the two campaigns look very different, there is also a unity about them, so it now feels like we have completed both parts of the story.”
The singer has reportedly been paid £6.5million ($11 million) for the campaign.
The Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2009-2010 advertising campaign will break in the August 2009 issues of magazines worldwide.
