The Devil Wears Prada actress Meryl Streep, 60, poses for January 2010 cover of Vanity Fair magazine, which will be on stands on December 2 in New York and Los Angeles and nationwide will be on December 8.
In the interview for magazine she says:
About life: “I’m very f—ing grateful to be alive. I have so many friends who are sick or gone, and I’m here. Are you kidding? No complaints!”
About acting:
It’s incredible—I’m 60, and I’m playing the romantic lead in romantic comedies! Bette Davis is rolling over in her grave. She was 42 when she did All About Eve, and she was 54 when she did What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?”
Meryl Streep told Leslie Bennetts during interview:
I can really see when I’m pregnant,”
You see the little squirrel cheeks and stuff. In the 1986 picture, I’m pregnant with Grace; my hands are on my face because I’m holding the squirrels in—holding them back!”
