I don’t think it is safe for a woman to get to work just two months after having a baby but Miranda Kerr seems to be confident about her decision as she agreed to walk the runway for Balenciaga Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012.
Miranda appeared at the Balenciaga catwalk just once but she looked great – so natural and attractive. Balenciaga clothing (which I personally don’t consider stylish or interesting) looked good on her.
Balenciaga Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collection unveiled during Paris Fashion Week was rather dull. Baggy sweaters, below-the-knee boring black skirts (though those white with prints looked beautiful), voluminous jackets and vests – all these lacked femininity and were too coarse.
However, there were pieces that deserved attention. For instance, the mesh dresses in bright colors, the ensemble Freja Beha Erichsen wore that comprised of purple trousers and severe three-colored tunic, and pants with leather knee detailing.
The shoes were fantastic, too. The floral-printed pairs with super-high spike heels had soles patterned as well. So, in my opinion, shoes were definitely the best part of Balenciaga Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collection.
