Mischa Barton has once said she loves fashion but now she claims it is of great importance to experiment with style. Risk is necessary when choosing outfits because this process helps you discover your own sense of style.

She said:

I style myself and I don’t always get it right, but that’s half the fun – you have to experiment to get your own look. It’s not worth getting upset about. Be yourself and wear something that embodies your own sense of style.”

When selecting her clothes the 24-year-old beauty often takes ideas from others.

I am inspired by Marianne Faithfull, Vivienne Westwood and Anita Pallenberg. I also think Pixie Geldof has cute style. I like to have fun with fashion and make it my own. I like to try new shapes – sometimes it works, sometimes not, but it’s always fun trying, which is what fashion is all about!”
