When I saw the collection by Prada for Fall 2009/Winter
2010 I was a little bit disappointed.
The style of the show was unusual and when I looked at the clothes and
models I thought I didn’t want to wear those outfits.
It’s just my personal opinion though. Let’s see what Steven Meisel for Prada A/W 2009-2010 can show us this coming season, whith such models as Julia Hafstrom, Ymre Stiekema, Kendra Spears, Katlin Aas and Anna de Rijk posing for the colelction.
Models have dishevelled hairstyles and dark makeup.
The theme of ads shows us women floating on the board in black water, sitting on the shore of the navy blue sea and dip their legs in high boots into the water.
It seems to me the negative situation with the world economy filled
the shoot with the vibe of pessimism and despair.
Colors of the clothes are dark and very pragmatic: black, red and brown.
While spring 2009 ad campaign was full of illumination and light, fall takes on a more darker, sinister shade.
